The Significance and Importance of the Research Design and Planning Phase
The word research means to "search again" or "examine carefully," this is so that the current or modern ways of any business or profession can adapt, adjust, and be improved upon for the betterment of all that is included. It also allows the adaptation towards modern trends and also the ever-evolving ways of science and technology.
One such profession is being a Nurse or Nursing. This profession is what it is today due to its numerous and copious amounts of researches, studies, and theories. The world is changing and evolving by the day, in order to catch up to recent updates, Nursing Research is a necessity to let Nurses gain new attitude, skills, and knowledge for the non-ceasing evolution of humanity.
The data gathered and conclusions in Nursing Research allows Nurses to polish and adapt themselves. New illnesses and evolving microorganisms are appearing, Nurses need to be prepped for all these new trials and obstacles.
In Research, planning is also everything, without a proper plan, a research is for naught. This is why there are emphasized phases for any type of research. A research must also contain proper contents and also in a clear and well-organized manner so as to make it more understandable to interested reader.
Research design is also important as it can affect the desired outcome of any research. Research design must be dependent on what is your goal, what is your query, and what is your hypothesis.
Nursing Research must be clear and concise so that Nurses can have better attitudes, skills, and knowledge, so that nurses can be more prepared, and so that Healthcare cane be even more improved upon. Nurses deal not just with their lives but the lives of many others also who are in need of proper and therapeutic help.
